About Lorah

Lorah invests the hard work and patience needed to bring out a horse and rider's utmost potential. Her horses and students learn to be confident, safe, and skilled for Dressage, Hunters, Eventing, Trail Riding, Jumpers, etc.

A few mentors and instructors that Lorah’s grateful to have had the opportunity to learn from are Cindy Paules, Linda Zang, Jim Koford, Nancy Lindroth, Michael Plumb, Kim Walnes, Jennifer Hebert, David O’Brien, and Denny Emerson.

Lorah Carey has years of experience including Pony Club, Working Student, Manager of several large horse facilities in Pennsylvania and Southern Pines, NC, and Owner/Manager of Dreamer's Run Stables.

Lorah also professionally trains horses to many different levels. She enjoys showing as well. Some competitions have included, Fair Hill, Menfelt, IEO, Wilson College, Carolina Horse Park, Williamston Equestrian Center, and Pinehurst.

Dreamer's Run Stables also offers Training for your horse. If you need your horse to be started under saddle, get over a bad habit, be trained for pleasure, or develop upper level skills, Lorah Carey has the know-how and experience.
