JOIN US FOR A CLINIC
ON SATURDAY JUNE 7th!

Schedule:

Individual or Group Dressage Lesson in the morning.

Lunch Break and Discussion Group with Question and Answer Session.

Individual or Group Jumping Lesson in the afternoon.

Stalls may be reserved for the day of the clinic.

Auditors are welcome.

Format for this Clinic:

Each dressage/jumping lesson will focus on a different format. Please indicate on the application below, which format you want to work on for this clinic, #1 thru 5.

Formats:
1.)
Fix a test/ride.  Very popular for dressage riders and eventers.  This will also be applied to the jumping.  Students will ride the dressage test/jumping course, we'll review the performance, focus on a few key specific things to improve on for about 30 minutes, ride the same test/course again and then we'll discuss the improvements.  Also beneficial for those who ride hunt seat...hunters will have a flat lesson in the morning and the over-fences class in the afternoon.

2.) Basics for Advancement.  This format will focus with working on applying basic skills to more advanced movements.  Such as asking for a lengthening at the trot or walk to canter transition...focusing on correct rider position and how it will allow the horse to learn a new skill more easily or perform the skill more correctly.

3.) Dressage/Jumping GeometryWays to use visual markers in the arena/jumping course to improve movement accuracy and/or lines to your jumps.  This is usually a lot of fun because there is such a variety of information to process while still riding effectively.

4.) Create Your OwnThis is for students who have specific goals they want to work on that are not covered in the previous formats.

5.) FeedbackFor riders who are not sure what they should be working on with their horse. This is a great way to have you and your horse evaluated, put together some short and long term goals, and gain the confidence to go for it.
